Nitzan Horowitz, a longtime Israeli journalist turned politician, is the author of the award-winning book Besieged which chronicles the first hours of October 7th and Home on the Edge, which documents the evacuation of northern Israeli communities. Horowitz served as Israel’s Minister of Health in Natali Bennett’s cabinet in 2021 and a member of the Security Cabinet until 2023, chaired the Meretz Party from 2019 to 2022, and was a Member of the Knesset from 2009 to 2021. Join Horowitz for a conversation about what comes next for Israelis and the Palestinians in Gaza. In conversation with Moment Senior Institute Fellow and Moment’s Jewish Politics & Power’s Nathan Guttman, who is also Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation’s U.S. correspondent.
