Join panelists from Broadway as they discuss the rise of antisemitism and Broadway’s response through recent and current productions. Featuring Tovah Feldshuh, the first Jewish actress in nearly 60 years to play Mrs. Rosie Brice in “Funny Girl,” renowned lyricist Bruce Sussman (“Harmony”), award-winning playwright Alfred Uhry (“Parade”), and moderator Lynne Marie Rosenberg, host of ALL ARTS’ “Famous Cast Words.”

Hosted by ALL ARTS, Exploring Hate, and Moment Magazine, this panel discussion was taped live May 22, 2023 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.

    I understand that this has become a big thing for you… The Fanny Brice legend>>>>>But when, I was a child (90 now) and listened to Baby Snooks….my whole family would shy away… Fanny Brice was a Gangster’s Moll… in the era of prohibition…Big gangter.. not a crappy bar, or a couple of bottles of hooch… Most of the Jews that I knew (Coney Island ) were deeply ashamed of her..
