By | Sep 27, 2024

About

It’s been almost one year since the devastating Hamas attack in Israel and the kidnapping of over 230 people. Since then, an entire movement of activists has been pushing for their freedom. One tireless advocate is Israeli-American chef, food writer and Moment Talk of the Table contributor Vered Guttman who has passionately thrown herself into this fight, leading rallies and speaking out. Guttman talks about what we can do to keep the spotlight on the remaining hostages. She also shares what it’s been like to be an Israeli living in America post-October 7. In conversation with Moment Deputy Editor Jennifer Bardi.

Thank you SO much, Vered, for your firsthand and detailed report on your experiences, your advocacy, and your inspiration for all of us to continue to fight on behalf of the hostages! And of course, for a ceasefire and peace. I appreciate your engagement with UnXceptable as we are doing that also here in the Bay Aera.
