The Nova Memorial: Art, Memory and Remembrance with Amir Chodorov, Eli Katzoff and Sarah Breger

Join Moment for a special screening and discussion of Soul Connections, a MomentStudios short film that follows Israeli artist Amir Chodorov as he creates the Nova Festival memorial, one of Israel’s most powerful sites of remembrance, honoring the victims of October 7.

From his Tel Aviv workshop, Chodorov has created more than 2,500 signs and billboards for the memorial, working closely with victims’ families to ensure that each piece reflects their loved ones’ stories and wishes.

To commemorate the third anniversary of October 7, Chodorov joins the film’s director, Eli Katzoff, and Moment Editor and Executive Producer Sarah Breger for a conversation about the film, the creation of the Nova memorial and the stories behind the thousands of signs that make up this extraordinary site of remembrance.

Following the screening, Chodorov, Katzoff and Breger discuss the making of the memorial and the process of honoring the lives and memories of those who were lost.
