About
In a recent article, Moment Senior Editor Dan Freedman writes “The expression ‘Yes, but is it good for the Jews?’ has morphed from plaintive cry to freighted question to laugh line.” How can one phrase carry so much weight and mean so many things? Join Freedman, along with Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s Theatre Ariel Jesse Bernstein, who commissioned three short plays centered on Jewish joy under the theme “Good for the Jews,” and award-winning playwright Dan Kitrosser, as they explore the positive and negative implications of what it means to be “good for the Jews” today. Topics range from Jewish humor and joy to power and politics to combatting antisemitism.
