Not only is this site a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but these 5,500-year-old structures are older than the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge. The Jewish inscription at Ġgantija is a significant historical artifact. This inscription is a discovery that highlights the presence of Jewish communities in Malta during ancient times, particularly during the Phoenician period. The text translates to “To the love of our Father Jahwe.” The inscription adds a layer of cultural and religious significance to the site, illustrating the diverse historical influences in Malta.
