Are American Jews Too Fair-Minded to Take Their Own Side?

That’s the question posed by Clifford D. May, president of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, in the March/April issue of Moment. Citing recent examples such as Tom Friedman’s statement that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s warm reception at Congress was “bought and paid for by the Israel lobby” and Robert Kaplan’s Atlantic profile of John Mearsheimer, among others, May asks whether American Jews are reinforcing anti-Israel and anti-Jewish rhetoric.

    Not American Jews but some radical left ‘intellectuals’
