Charlie Chaplin – Not Jewish

Charlie Chaplin was an English comedian, actor, filmmaker and composer, born in London, England, to Charles Chaplin Sr., a vocalist, and Hannah Chaplin, a singer and actress. Chaplin was of English descent and was raised in a poor, working-class family. He is best known for his portrayal of the “Tramp” character in silent films, with iconic works such as The Kid (1921), City Lights (1931), and Modern Times (1936). Chaplin’s innovative approach to comedy, combined with his social commentary, made him one of the most influential figures in the history of cinema. He passed away on December 25, 1977.
