Adrien Brody – Jewish
Adrien Brody is an American actor, born in New York City, to Sylvia (née Plachy) and Elliott Brody. Adrien Brody’s grandmother on his mother’s side was Czech Jewish. Brody’s mother was born in Budapest, Hungary to a Catholic Hungarian father and a Czech Jewish mother. Additionally, his father is of Polish Jewish descent. Brody gained international fame for his role in The Pianist (2002), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor, making him the youngest male actor to receive the honor at the time. Known for his intense performances, Brody has appeared in a wide range of films, including The Thin Red Line (1998), King Kong (2005) and The Brutalist (2024), which won Brody a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
