Liev Schreiber is an actor who has appeared in numerous films, including The Manchurian Candidate, Spotlight, the first three Scream films, Caught Stealing, and several Wes Anderson movies. He earned acclaim for the titular role in the 2013-2020 television series Ray Donovan and his portrayal of Otto Frank in the 2023 HBO series A Small Light. 

Raised by a Jewish mother and a Protestant father, Schreiber grew up attending a Quaker school. Today, Schreiber identifies as Jewish, and in a 2024 speech at Temple Emanu-El in New York he described Judaism’s questioning tradition as vital in an increasingly divided world.
