sombr (Shane Michael Boose) has Sephardic and Ashkenazi ancestry through his mother.

Boose is an American singer and songwriter. His debut album, I Barely Know Her (2025), reached the top twenty on the Billboard 200 and he was nominated for Best New Artist at the 68th Grammys and the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
