Pink – Jewish

Pink was born to a Jewish mother (whose maiden name was Kugel) and described herself as an “Irish-German-Lithuanian Jew.” When she toured Berlin in 2017, she brought her daughter to the city’s Holocaust Memorial.

Pink is an American singer and activist. Her first album, Can’t Take Me Home (2000), was certified double platinum by the RIAA, and her second, Missundaztood (2001), sold more than 13 million copies worldwide. She has had four number-one Billboard hits: “Lady Marmalade” (with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and Mya), “So What”, “Raise Your Glass” and “Just Give Me a Reason” (with Nate Ruess). In 2026. she was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and recently, took over The Kelly Clarkson Show for a week to highlight Women’s History Month.
