Odessa A’zion-Jewish
Odessa A’zion is the daughter of a German director and the actress Pamela Adlon, whose father was born to a Jewish family and whose mother converted to Judaism later on. The Gen-Z Actress was born in Sacramento and spent her childhood in Los Angeles, Boston and Germany.
She landed her first role as Liv in season 5 of the soap opera Nashville, and was involved with thrillers and horrors like Ladyworld (2018) and Let’s Scare Julie (2020) but rose to fame after playing the flighty influencer Tallulah Stiel on Rachel Sennott’s I Love LA (2025) and portraying the titular character’s (played by Timothée Chalamet) the pregnant Jewish girlfriend, Rachel Mizler, in Josh Safdie’s ping-pong drama Marty Supreme (2025).
A’zion was raised Jewish and fell into controversy when a 2017 photograph of her in an IDF T-shirt was resurfaced, though she repudiated both Netanyahu and the Gaza war in her response.
