Michael Diamond (Mike D) – Jewish
Michael Diamond, known as Mike D, is an American rapper, songwriter and member of the hip-hop group the Beastie Boys. He was born in New York City, to an upper-middle-class Jewish family. His father, Harold Diamond, was a businessman, and his mother, Doris, was an educator. Diamond, along with Adam “MCA” Yauch and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz, revolutionized hip-hop with their debut album Licensed to Ill (1986).
