Mel Gibson – Not Jewish
Mel Gibson is an American actor, director and producer, born in Peekskill, NY, to Hutton Gibson and Anne (née Reilly). Gibson is of Irish and Australian descent, with his paternal family being of Irish Catholic background. He gained international fame for his roles in Mad Max (1979) and the Lethal Weapon series (1987–1998). As a director, his film Braveheart (1995) won multiple Academy Awards, including Best Director.
