Joy Behar – Not Jewish
Josephine Victoria Occhiuto, professionally known as Joy Behar, is an American comedian, television host and actress. She co-hosts the ABC talk show The View, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2009. Behar got her surname when she married Joseph Behar, who was the son of Sephardic Jewish immigrants from Turkey. In Moment’s article on the Top Ten Non-Jews Misidentified as Jews, Behar is described as having Jewish humor all the time. One of her jokes includes, “A couple of years ago, I got a call: ’Happy Hanukkah.’ And I said, ’Ma, I’m not Jewish!”’
