Jack Hughes – Jewish

Jack and his brother Quinn Hughes were born to a Jewish mother and a Catholic father. They both had a bar mitzvah and grew up celebrating Passover.

Hughes is an American ice hockey player. He is the center and alternate captain for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. He is reportedly dating Canadian pop singer Tate McRae. Most recently, he scored the game-winning goal for the United States against Canada and won the gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics. He and the majority of his team ran into controversy by attending Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address.
