Drake – Jewish

Drake was born to an African American father and a Canadian Ashkenazi Jewish mother. He attended a Jewish day school and became a bar mitzvah, and for his 31st birthday, threw a “re-bar mitzvah” party.

Drake is a Canadian-American rapper and actor. He starred in the teen series Degrassi: The Next Generation for seven years before signing with Young Money Entertainment, founded by Lil Wayne. His albums—including the hits Thank Me Later (2010), Take Care (2011), Views (2016) and Scorpion (2018)—have racked up billions of streams on Spotify. He has achieved 14 Billboard 200 #1 albums and 13 Billboard Hot 100 #1 songs. In May 2026, he released three albums simultaneously: ICEMAN, MAID OF HONOUR and HABIBTI.
