Blondshell – Jewish

Blondshell (Sabrina Mae Teitelbaum) was born to a Jewish father, and her mother later converted to Judaism. Her family went to a Reform synagogue and celebrated Jewish holidays, and Teitelbaum received a bat mitzvah. Growing up, she would watch Curb Your Enthusiasm and the comedy of Sarah Silverman.

Blondshell is an American singer and songwriter. First releasing music under the name BAUM, she made her debut as Blondshell with her 2023 self-titled album, which received critical acclaim. Two records followed: If You Asked for a Picture in 2025 and Violins in 2026. She has performed at South by Southwest, Austin City Limits and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
