The Catholic world has elected a new Pope, the world’s first Latin American to hold the position. Francis, as he will be known, was born and bred in Argentina.

As Bennett Greenspan, president and CEO of Family Tree DNA, a genetic testing service, said, “There are a lot of Catholics running around who have Jewish descent.”
